Spring 2019 FLTE Graduates Ready For Teaching and Travel

After completing their student teaching experiences, all eight of the 2018-19 Foreign Language Teacher Education BAT cohort are looking forward to exciting prospects next fall.

Victoria Dent will be traveling abroad and teaching for the Embassy of Spain program.

Abby Manaster will be substitute teaching Spanish locally in the Urbana-Champaign area, then traveling and working in Latin America next spring.

Ashley Khan will be be teaching for the Americorps City Year program in the Chicago Public Schools.

Katie Rapp will be teaching French at Galesburg High School.

After returning from a summer trip to Israel, Mallory Sherwood will be teaching Spanish at South Middle School in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Emily Brown, 2019 recipient of the Bonnie. S. Juggenheimer Scholarship for outstanding Spanish students, will be teaching Spanish at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois.

Danielle Little will be teaching Spanish for Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, Illinois.

Lexi Lund will be teaching Spanish at Washington Middle School in Aurora, Illinois.
